The Other 23 Hours

**Originally posted by CrossFit Generation. I borrowed (without permission of course) and revised it.

There are 24 hours in a day. Most of you average around 3-5 training sessions a week and some may do a bit more on their own including some additional running, biking, climbing, and recreational sports. RAD training sessions are an hour long and athletes give 100% to training hard for that period of time. Hearts are pumping, sweat is dripping, and muscles are pumped. This is all fantastic as results and progress are achieved within that hour. However, it does not and should not stop there. I ask you this. What are you doing to enhance your training and healthy lifestyle during the other 23 hours a day? Check out the questions below. If you answer "NO" to any of them, there is room for improvement outside of RAD which will help achieve the results you want.
1. Are you eating clean and fueling yourself properly each day with real, whole, unprocessed foods?
2. Are you sleeping more than 7 hours per night?
3. Are you resting properly outside of RAD training? (More is not always better.)
4. Are you drinking at least 50oz of water per day?
If you answered "NO" to these questions, it is time to change! You can't out-train poor lifestyle habits. RAD creates a program and atmosphere that produces results. We provide you with quality coaching and training programs that build you into not only a better athlete, but a more confident and unwavering individual. But that is only 1 hour of your day. What are you doing with the other 23?

  1. 1. Yes! No more dairy. No breads, rice, grains or oats except for rare special occasion meals away from home.
    2. Sleeping more than 8!
    3. hmmmm Yeah but I need to ride more. Driving to work sucks.
    4. 120 oz a day!
50 oz? It's supposed to be your bodyweight divided by 2 plus 20.
