The Incredible Edible Egg

So I eat a bunch of eggs. I usually have 2-3 in the morning. Everyday one of my snacks consists of a can of olives and 2-3 hardboiled eggs. I even have eggs as part of my dinner at least a couple nights a week.

"But Mark, Aren't you worried about your cholesterol?"

"Nope. I have superior genetics, and I'm immune to cholesterol build up.....cancer.....fat accumulation.....poison ivy.....and hangovers to name just a few."

Seriously though. There is a pretty big misconception out there on cholesterol in general. Instead of paraphrasing it all I'll give a couple good (and quick) references on the topic.

I do recommend purchasing "quality" eggs though. I buy my eggs from a couple out on Johnson Lane. They're only $3 a dozen, and the chickens that lay them are clucking around on 5-acres+ of open grassland. If you have to buy from the store, try and get omega-3 enriched if possible. We'll talk about omega-3s another day. I'm out.
