Welcome Chris!!

Chris joined our cult this afternoon.  She started fresh with On-Ramp #1.  She mentioned that she has been working with a personal trainer for some time now, mostly on strength, and was looking for more "cardio" work.  We don't have ellipticals.......or treadmills...........but I'll see what I can do to help her out.

Speaking of "cardio"............check out today's workout. You don't even know how hard it is for me to program a workout like this for myself. I HATE THIS WOD.........but I will never get better at the stuff I suck at if I avoid it.

Here's a pic of Melissa and Charley kickin' round a little On-Ramp#5.  One more to go til graduation.

Burpee Credits:
Don't be a loser..........and not have any burpee credits when the time comes. Check this site and also our Facebook page for ways to pick some up. Remember to bring your songs no later than this Friday to get 10 credits.

I'll also give 10 credits to the first 3 people to email me a correct answer to this:

What hormone is released in response to stress with the primary functions of increasing blood sugar, suppressing the immune system, and aiding in fat, protein and carbohydrate metabolism? Higher and more prolonged levels of this hormone (like those associated with chronic stress) have been shown to have negative effects such as:

     -Blood sugar imbalances
     -Decreased bone density
     -Decreased muscle tissue
     -High blood pressure
-Lowerd immunity and inflammation in the body
     -Increased abdominal fat
