So I'm beginning to see a trend with all the RAD "newbies" around here. Most come in and are totally freaked out about what the experienced athletes are capable of. Keep in mind that 99.9999% of our gang did not have unassisted pull-ups, handstand push-ups, double-unders, rope climbs, etc. on day 1. They worked hard at it..........and with enough hard work comes results. Don't worry so much about what you are not doing (YET!) but rather what the task at hand is. Hit each day's workout with all the intensity you can muster. Workouts are programmed and scaled for you so that you will progress and become one of the "studs" or "stud-ettes." Trust me............it will happen. I see it all the time.
Speaking of RAD "newbies".............Alex brought his buddy David in this past week..........and Charley showed for her second On-Ramp WOD today. Both are acclimating well. To all you RAD veterans.........make sure you introduce yourselves to new people. Coach A-Hole has been known to reprimand snobbish behavior with burpees or a consultation with Air Satan.
Here's a pic of Charley in action today:
Here's a pic of today's damage. Big ups to all the RAD people that PR'd on their 600m run!!
